Framely respects your privacy. Your documents, projects, and preferences are stored locally on your Mac. We do not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or contact details, and we have no user accounts or servers of our own.
We use third-party analytics services to understand how the app is used and to diagnose crashes, so we can improve functionality and stability.
This app uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, which may collect anonymous data such as:
This data is anonymous, not linked to your identity, and is used solely for analytics and app improvement. It is not used for advertising or for tracking you across other apps and websites. Analytics data may be processed by Google Firebase in accordance with their privacy policy.
If you choose to upload screenshots to App Store Connect from within Framely, you provide an App Store Connect API key that you create in your own App Store Connect account. The key is stored only in your Mac's Keychain and is used solely to make requests directly from your Mac to Apple's App Store Connect API. It is never written into your documents, never sent to us or to any third party, and never included in analytics or crash reports. You can remove it at any time from within the app or with Keychain Access.
During an upload, your screenshots and the information needed to place them in your listing (such as app, version and language identifiers) are sent directly to Apple and handled under Apple's privacy policy. The App Store Connect app you choose is remembered inside your project document so you are not asked again. Analytics for this feature record only counts (such as how many files and languages an upload contained) and a general category when an upload fails — never the key, your app's name, or the contents of your screenshots.
Framely uses Apple's StoreKit framework to handle the optional one-time Pro unlock purchase. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction. We never see your payment details.
Framely is distributed through the Mac App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
