Last updated: 20 July 2026

Ready2Run is built to be private: your health data and your readiness verdicts are processed on your iPhone and are never sent to us. Here is exactly what the app uses.

The short version: Your HRV, heart-rate, and sleep data stay on your device. We can't see them, we don't store them on any server, and we never sell or share them. The only thing that leaves your phone is anonymous, aggregate app-usage and crash information that contains none of your health measurements.

1. Health & Fitness Data (Apple HealthKit)

With your permission, Ready2Run reads the following from Apple HealthKit, read-only: heart-rate variability (SDNN), resting heart rate, and sleep analysis (time asleep and wake time). This is used for one purpose only — to calculate the readiness verdict, factors, and trend chart you see in the app.

You can revoke access to any health data type at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Ready2Run. Deleting the app removes its local cache from your device.

2. Analytics & Diagnostics

To fix bugs and understand which features are used, Ready2Run collects a small amount of anonymous, aggregate information through Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics):

This analytics stream never includes your actual HRV, heart-rate, or sleep values — and never the verdict itself. We record only that a verdict was shown, never whether it said train, easy, or rest: a readiness verdict is inferred health information, and it stays on your device like the measurements behind it. Nothing here is linked to your name or identity (Ready2Run has no accounts), and none of it is used to track you across other apps or websites — no advertising identifier (IDFA) is used.

This processing is handled by Google. See Firebase Privacy & Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

4. Data Retention

Your health data stays in Apple HealthKit under your control. Ready2Run's on-device cache exists only while the app is installed and is removed when you delete it. Anonymous analytics and crash data are retained by Google according to their policies.

5. Children's Privacy

Ready2Run is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Grant or revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings. Delete the app to remove its local cache. Because analytics is anonymous and not tied to an identity, there is no personal profile of you for us to hold, access, or delete.

7. Security

Calculations run on your device, protected by iOS's built-in data-protection encryption. Because your health data never reaches a server we operate, there is no central store of it to be breached.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will appear here with a new "Last updated" date.
